About us
A no-nonsense .edu email service
Built by engineers who were tired of paid resellers charging $30 for something that should be free.
Why Free Edu Email Generator exists
Discount programs for students are a great idea, but the ecosystem around them isn't. Third-party resellers charge students dozens of dollars for an academic email they promise will "unlock" Spotify, GitHub Student Pack, or JetBrains licenses. Most of the time the address works for a week, then disappears. Sometimes it's stolen from a hacked institution — an actual crime.
Free Edu Email Generator takes a different route. We register our own real domains on academic country-code TLDs (like .edu.pl) and hand out addresses on them for free. If you want a permanent private username instead of a shared public one, you can claim it for a single $5 payment in crypto. That's the entire business model. No subscriptions. No hidden fees. No stolen mailboxes.
What we don't do
- We don't sell US
.eduaddresses — those are restricted by EDUCAUSE. - We don't pretend our addresses are from an accredited institution.
- We don't sell your data. Free inboxes have no third-party trackers.
- We don't guarantee any specific service will accept our domains.
How it's built
Mail routing runs on Cloudflare Email Routing, which handles the heavy lifting of DKIM, SPF, and MX. Inbound messages are parsed and stored in a Postgres database. The web app is a modern React application backed by Supabase for authentication and data. Payments are handled by a non-custodial crypto processor so we never touch your funds directly.
